Natural rubber NR
(Natural Rubber) is made from Rubber tree collection latex, is the polymer of isoprene. It has good wear resistance, high elasticity, breaking strength and elongation. It is easy to age in the air and becomes sticky when heated. It is easy to expand and dissolve in mineral oil or gasoline. It is alkali resistant but not strong acid resistant. Advantages: good elasticity, acid and alkali resistance. Disadvantages: heat resistance, oil resistance (vegetable oil resistance), is the production of rubber tape, hose, rubber shoes of raw materials, and suitable for the production of shock absorbing parts, in the car brake oil, ethanol and other liquid with hydroxide products.
Styrene butadiene rubber SBR
Styrene Butadiene Copolymer is a Copolymer of Butadiene and Styrene. Compared with natural adhesive, it has more uniform quality, less foreign matter, better wear resistance and aging resistance, but less mechanical strength. It can be used with natural adhesive. Advantages: low cost non-oil resistant material, good water resistance, good elasticity under 70 hardness, poor compressibility at high hardness. Disadvantages: strong acids, ozone, oils, esters, fats and most hydrocarbons are not recommended. Widely used in tire industry, shoe industry, cloth industry and conveyor belt industry.
Butyl rubber IIR
(Butyl Rubber) isobutene and a small amount of isoprene polymerization, because the movement of methyl three-dimensional barrier molecules is less than other polymers, so the gas permeability is less, heat, sunlight, ozone resistance is large, electrical insulation is good; Large resistance to polar capacitive agent, the general use of temperature range of minus 54-110 ℃. Advantages: impermeable to most common gases. Good resistance to sunlight and odors. Exposure to animal or vegetable oils or gasifiable chemicals. Disadvantages: not recommended to be used with petroleum solvents, kerosene and aromatic hydrogen. Used for inner tube, leather bag, rubber paste paper, window frame rubber, steam hose, heat-resistant conveyor belt, etc.
Hydrogenated nitrile glue HNBR
Hydrogenate Nitrile is a part of the double chain in Nitrile rubber after hydrogenation. After hydrogenation, the temperature resistance and weather resistance of Nitrile rubber are much higher than that of ordinary Nitrile rubber, and the oil resistance is similar to that of ordinary Nitrile rubber. The general use temperature range is minus 25-150 ℃. Advantages: better wear resistance than nitrile rubber, with excellent corrosion resistance, tensile resistance, tear resistance and compressibility.
It is resistant to ozone and other atmospheric conditions. It is generally used as a detergent for washing clothes or dishes. Disadvantages: it is not recommended to use in alcohols, esters or aromatic solutions in air conditioning and refrigeration industry. It is widely used in environmental refrigerants, seals in R134A system and seals in automobile engine system.
EPDM
EPDM(Ethylene Rubber) is made of Ethylene and propylene, so it has excellent heat resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance and stability, but it cannot be sulfur and sulfur. In order to solve this problem, the EP main chain into a small amount of double chain of the third component and can add sulfur to form EPDM, the general use of temperature is minus 50-150 ℃. Excellent resistance to polar solvents such as alcohol, ketone and other advantages: good weather resistance and ozone resistance, excellent water resistance and chemical resistance, alcohol and ketone can be used, high temperature vapor resistance, good impermeability to gas. Disadvantages: Not recommended for food use or exposure to aromatic hydrogen. Seals or components for bathroom equipment in high temperature steam environment. Rubber parts used in braking systems. Seals in a radiator (car water tank).
Nitrile rubber NBR
Nitrile Rubber is made by copolymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene. The content of acrylonitrile is from 18%-50%. The higher the content of acrylonitrile, the better the resistance to hydrocarbon fuel oil of petrochemical oil, but the performance at low temperature is worse. Nitrile rubber is one of the most commonly used rubber for oil seals and O-rings. It has good oil resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance and high pressure oil resistance.
Good compressibility, wear resistance and elongation.
Disadvantages: Not suitable for use in polar solvents such as ketones, ozone, nitro hydrocarbons,MEK and chloroform.? It is used for making fuel tank, lubricating oil box and rubber parts, especially sealing parts, used in fluid media such as petroleum hydraulic oil, gasoline, water, silicone oil and diester lubricating oil. Can be said to be the most widely used, the lowest cost of rubber seals.
Neoprene CR
(Neoprene, Polychloroprene) is formed by the polymerization of chloroprene monomer. Vulcanized rubber elastic wear resistance is good, not afraid of direct sunlight, has a particularly good weather resistance, not afraid of intense distortion, not afraid of refrigerant, resistance to dilute acid, silicone ester lubricating oil, but not phosphate ester hydraulic oil. It is easy to crystallize and harden at low temperature, and has poor storage stability. It has a large amount of expansion in mineral oil with low aniline point, and the general use temperature range is -50~150 ℃. Advantages: good elasticity and good compression deformation, the formula contains no sulfur, so it is very easy to make, with animal and vegetable oil properties, not due to neutral chemicals, fats, grease, a variety of oils, solvents and affect the physical properties, with fire resistance.
Disadvantages: it is not recommended to use strong acid, nitro-hydrocarbon, ester, chloroform and ketone chemicals in R12 refrigerant resistant seals, rubber parts or seals on household appliances. Suitable for making all kinds of direct contact with the atmosphere, sunlight, ozone parts. It is suitable for all kinds of rubber products which are resistant to fire and chemical corrosion.
Composition of synthetic rubber: synthetic rubber is a polymer with petroleum and natural gas as raw materials and diolefin and olefin as monomer polymerization.
Rubber polymer has broken through the process of monomer polymerization, the world’s leading rubber factories have begun to use higher strength rubber, with super-high molecular aggregation, and the cost is quite low.
